Ph.D. Candidate at Politecnico di Torino, Electronics Engineering
Andrea Bontempi obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees in Biomedical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Instrumentation at Politecnico di Torino in 2018 and 2021, respectively. Under the supervision of Professor Danilo Demarchi, he worked on a master thesis’s about "Wireless Power Transfer for Implantable Medical Devices", with the main focus on near-field resonant inductive coupling technology. In April 2021, he pursued this collaboration by beginning a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering at Politecnico di Torino.
His work is based on radar applications to monitoring vital signals and wireless power transfer system for wearable sensors.
His main research interest lies in electronics related to the biomedical world.
